Integrating with ReleaseCat

This section is technical and is intended for the person responsible for integrating your product with releasecat.

To integrate your application with the ReleaseCat service, log in and from the documentation menu select "How to embed."

Then follow the steps described in the window that opens.

Do not change the value of the 'id' variable. This value is unique to your product and allows us to correctly display the posts you prepare for your users.

The variable 'production: false' means that when you visit the page in which you embedded the script, the last post you prepared will be displayed even if you visit the page for the first time.

When you decide to use streamcat as a permanent option, you should change the value of the 'production' variable to 'true.' This change may make it slightly more challenging for you to test, but the system's behavior will be more appropriate from your users' point of view.

When the variable 'production' is set to 'true,' a new user of your product will not see the pop-up with the last post. If you don't like that option, you can leave the value of this variable unchanged.
